Q2 produced the first real crack in the execution story: organic growth of +17.8% undershot Vertiv's OWN +20-24% guide, and the market took ~26% off the stock between our June mark and 31 Jul despite a guidance raise — proof that at this multiple the tape prices execution, not narrative. Worse for our specific case, the backlog pillar the bull argument leaned hardest on has not been disclosed for two consecutive quarters and is now a December-2025 number.
