Install a skill

  1. Copy the skill's folder, with its SKILL.md at the top, into .devin/skills/ in your project, or into ~/.codeium/windsurf/skills/ for all your projects.
  2. Keep the folder named exactly as the name field in its SKILL.md, as the Agent Skills spec asks.
  3. Or use the Any agent tab on any skill's page here: its commands copy that skill into .agents/skills, which Windsurf (Devin Desktop) also reads, at the commit we checked.

Watch out for

  • Its docs now call it Devin Desktop; .windsurf/skills is the legacy project folder.
  • It reads .claude/skills and ~/.claude/skills only after you turn on Claude Code config reading.
  • ~/.config/devin/skills is shared with the Devin CLI.
