video-podcast-maker-lite
video-podcast-maker-lite is a skill in Agents365-ai/video-podcast-maker, last changed 4 Sept 2026. It can run shell commands, reach the network, name web addresses and bundle scripts — read the findings before installing. Our pattern check flagged nothing at commit 33b8078 on 27 Oct 2026.
Pattern check: nothing flagged · commit 33b8078 · 27 Oct 2026
InstallMinimal personal narrated-video pipeline — a topic becomes a talking-head-free explainer MP4 (1080p or 4K) via script → Azure TTS (SSML) → Remotion. Use when the user wants a quick narrated video from a topic without the full video-podcast-maker machinery (no extra skills, no thumbnails/shorts/publish matrix). Do NOT trigger for heavy production needs — use video-podcast-maker for those.

npx skills@1.7.4 add Agents365-ai/video-podcast-maker --skill video-podcast-maker-liteWhat it can touch
From the files and frontmatter at commit 33b8078. This is how much a skill can do, not whether it is risky.
What it can touch: Shell, network or credentials
Runs shell commands
Its instructions or files give the agent commands to run on your computer.
Reaches the network
It sends or fetches data over the internet, for example with curl, an HTTP library or a package install.
Names web addresses
It mentions outside web addresses the agent may visit. We list them but don't follow them.
Bundles scripts
The folder holds code files the agent may run.
Pattern check
Pattern check: nothing flagged · commit 33b8078 · 27 Oct 2026
We checked every text file in this skill, at commit 33b8078 on 27 Oct 2026, against 45 published patterns such as download-and-run commands, hidden text and credential access. We don't run the skill, we don't read the web pages it points to, and we can't judge everything its instructions might lead an agent to do. In published tests, pattern checks like this one missed most malicious skills. Read the skill before you install it — especially anything it asks you to download or run.

Format check
Each agent reads SKILL.md a little differently. We check the file against each one's published rules; we don't run the skill in any agent.
Agent Skills specPasses with warnings
The open format from agentskills.io, held to what the strictest agents enforce, so one folder loads everywhere.
- Warning
Fields outside the spec: argument-hint (read by Claude Code and VS Code), author, category and version. Uploads to the Claude apps and API, and the spec's validator, reject the file; most agents ignore these fields. O1
Fix: Delete them for a portable skill, or keep them if you only target the agents that read them.
- Note
There is no license field, so readers can't tell whether they may reuse the skill. O2
Fix: Add license: with an SPDX name such as MIT or Apache-2.0, or the name of a bundled licence file.
- Warning
Claude CodePasses
Claude Code reads its own extra fields, ignores unknown ones, and still loads a skill whose frontmatter is broken, without its fields.
- Note
Claude Code ignores fields it doesn't know: author, category and version. O1
Fix: Check the spelling against Claude Code's field list, or delete them.
- Note
Claude apps & API uploadFails
Uploading to claude.ai or the Claude API, or packaging with Anthropic's script, accepts only the six spec fields and stops on anything else.
- Error
Upload and packaging fail on fields outside the spec: argument-hint, author, category and version. O1
Fix: Delete them, and keep your own data under metadata as text values.
- Note
The description is 390 characters. The claude.ai Help Center says 200 at most, though Anthropic's API docs and validator allow 1,024. D4
Fix: If the claude.ai upload refuses it, trim the description to 200 characters.
- Error
OpenAI (Codex & API)Passes with warnings
Codex finds SKILL.md by its exact name and needs a description; OpenAI's Skills API checks the frontmatter against the spec and caps uploads.
- Warning
Fields outside the spec: argument-hint, author, category and version. Codex ignores them; OpenAI doesn't say whether its upload accepts them. O1
Fix: Delete them, or move your own data under metadata as text values.
- Warning
VS Code & CopilotPasses
VS Code reads skills one folder below .github/skills, .claude/skills or .agents/skills and falls back to the folder name when the name is missing or differs; GitHub's Copilot docs require the exact name SKILL.md.
- Note
VS Code ignores fields it doesn't support: author, category and version. O1
Fix: Delete them unless another agent you target reads them.
- Note

Agents365-ai/video-podcast-maker
Use when the user gives a topic and wants an automated topic-driven narrated explainer, podcast, or knowledge-summary video (Bilibili / YouTube / Xiaohongshu / Douyin / WeChat Channels), or asks to learn visual design patterns from a reference video/image. Trigger when the user mentions creating a knowledge video, narrated explainer, video podcast, or animated infographic-style video from a topic — even if they don't say "video podcast" explicitly. Also trigger when the user wants to regenerate, re-render, rebuild, update, or iterate on a narrated video this skill already produced — e.g. they edited the script/prompt, changed the visuals, or swapped the background music and want the final video remade (reuse the existing videos/{name}/ directory, never start a new project). Do NOT trigger for generic video editing, trimming, format conversion, color grading, or non-narrative video tasks. Produces 4K video via research → script → TTS → Remotion → MP4 + BGM.

video-podcast-maker-nano
Agents365-ai/video-podcast-maker
Smallest personal narrated-explainer-video pipeline (spoken narration over visuals, not an audio podcast), fully tool-agnostic and autonomous by default — topic → research ∥ asset collection → script → TTS → video → 4K render ∥ publish info + cover. The skill defines the pipeline logic and self-verified checkpoints; any TTS backend and any video tool (Remotion, HyperFrames, CapCut, ...) work, and how much human oversight to apply is set by the working project's AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, not here. Use when the user wants a quick personal narrated video with minimal steps, whether or not they name the tool stack. Do NOT trigger for audio-only podcasts, written episodic content, or heavy multi-format production.
