QAI Earth

Geospatial data, AI agents and geo-based simulation on one living globe, so a question about a place ends in an answer you can check on the map.

Overview

QAI Earth is for people who have to decide where: energy and infrastructure teams, investors and analysts, risk and climate teams. It brings three things together on one globe.

Priority access

AI agents and geo-based simulation are not open to everyone yet. Priority access puts you among the first to use them.

  1. Go to the QAI Earth page.
  2. Leave your name, company and work e-mail. You do not need an account.
  3. We contact you at that e-mail.

The geospatial data needs no request: Global Infra is open to read today.

Geospatial data

Global Infra shows the data on a globe, with charts and tables of the same figures below the map. Turn layers on and off in the layers panel, and select a point to read its details. Data points are dated, so you know how fresh each one is.

AI data centers

Each site shows whether it is under construction, expanding or at full build, with its power requirement and compute power, now and at full build. Compute is counted in NVIDIA H100-equivalent GPUs: how many of that chip would match the site's computing power. Power and compute are Epoch AI's estimates, and full-build figures are its projections.

Power grid

Power lines by voltage, substations, and power plants by fuel and output, as mapped in OpenStreetMap. The figures count what has been mapped, so coverage varies by country.

Map views

The globe is the default view: drag to turn the Earth and scroll to zoom. The flat map is better for comparing places side by side and reading a region closely.

AI agents

Point at a region and ask. Agents read the layers, pull the evidence and answer with the points on the map behind each claim, so you can check the work. Not open to everyone yet: priority access puts you among the first.

  1. Ask a question about any place, or about what connects several.
  2. An agent does the research: for a larger question it plans the steps, gathers data from several sources and brings it together.
  3. The answer cites its sources, and the places in it are marked on the map.
  4. The result becomes a layer you can turn on and off, stack with others, restyle or delete.

A chat keeps its context, so you can follow up on an answer and narrow it down.

Geo-based simulation

Test it before it happens. Change one thing on the map and watch what moves downstream, day by day. Not open to everyone yet: priority access puts you among the first.

  • A heat wave: which grids and sites feel it first.
  • A new plant: what it changes for the sites around it.
  • A closed shipping lane: which ports and routes take the strain.

FAQ

What can I ask QAI Earth?

Anything about a place or what connects places: power, data centers, mines, ports, trade, climate and the risks around them. If it can be shown on a map, an agent can answer with the points behind it.

Where does the data come from?

AI data centers come from Epoch AI and the power grid from OpenStreetMap. In the other layers, a data point links to its source where one is recorded, so you can check it.

How do I get priority access?

Leave your name, company and work e-mail on the QAI Earth page. You do not need an account, and we contact you at that e-mail.

Do I need priority access to see the data?

No. Global Infra is open to read, with no request needed.

Is there an API?

No. QAI Earth is used on the web.
